For this project we were set the task of searching museums in Manchester for artefacts, and then using one as inspiration for a product. My chosen artefact was a hard drive USB used as spyware.
We were also assigned reputable designers to reference in our work too. My designer was Osamu Tezuka, a famous manga artist known for 'Astro Boy' and other big titles.
I focused on the theme of sci-fi that is frequent in Tezuka's work, and created a box for a 'Portable Pal'. This would be a plug-in companion in a fictional futuristic world.
